The Creation of Pochoma123

One day in February of 2007, i got really bored on the computer and I searched “Penguin” in Google (They were my favorite animal) and a thing came up with Club Penguin. I clicked on it and I saw how it looked. I joined by creating the penguin, Pochoma123.

Pochama is Japanese for the Pokemon, Piplup (I was also obsessed with Pokemon). I typed in Pochama123, but it was taken. So I tried Pochoma123, and it worked! So I kept the name. During 2007, I also created two other penguins, Sorarocks3 and Yoshi123241. My favorite Servers are Northern Lights and Rocky Road, and I will usually be anywhere in that server.

How I started Blogging

While searching the internet, yet again, I came across a website called Ratemypenguin.com , ran by Mimo777. I saw how cool it was to have a website and how I could possibly become famous. So i created my first  blog, http://pochoma123.blogspot.com which is still there today. This was in December 2007.

I went for about a month by myself, then I met a guy named Joycin123 aka Speek, who also had a website. I offered him a spot on my blog, and he said yes. He was very good at funny pictures, and became the site’s chief funny picture agent and one of my best friends. Then another person commented on my blog, named Jimy0123. He was awesome at cheats in Club Penguin. So he became my chief cheat agent.

Then on June 9, 2008, I decided to switch to WordPress, instead of Blogspot. And this is the site you see today. With the switch came a lot of new positives. Now, i knew that I didn’t have to become famous. I just do it for fun!

Club Penguin Armies

When I switched from Blogspot to WordPress, I also found out about CP armies. The first army I joined, was the Tacos, lead by Pringle64. I stayed with the Tacos for about a year, I became president, and eventually 2nd in command. Then Pringle64 merged the Tacos with another army to create The Fire Warriors! The FW grew really fast, then merged with another army to create the Roman Fire Warriors.

The RFW lasted for about 2 months. They needed a better recruiting name, so they went back to Fire Warriors. They lasted throughout the summer, into August. They were the 4th largest army in Club Penguin. Pringle64 still the leader. Then, they merged with the nachos, the 2nd largest army. They lasted about 2 weeks.

Pringle64 got tired of the Nachos leaders and decided to recreate the Fire Warriors. And after about 5 months of growth, we changed back to the Roman Fire Warriors! Pringle6. The Creation of Pringle64

It was August 2006. My best friend told me of a fun online game with penguins. I was more obsessed with video games, playing outside, but eventually I googled “Club Penguin”. He told me of cool clothes, pins, igloos, buddies, and I didn’t know how awesome it was until I logged in. Before this, he and I made a “Penguin Club”. We all had nicknames, and I was the president. His nickname was Rico, and mine was Pringle, since I was always eating those chips at lunch. So I logged in and tried to name my penguin “Pringle”, not knowing that even at this point names without numbers were all about taken. I tried 1, 2, and 3 with no success, so fed up, I added a “64″, from the Nintendo 64. It worked, and I got hooked.

How I started Blogging

Since I’m a very curious and adventurous type, I knew there had to be something beyond just waddling around and meeting new friends. I googled “Club Penguin” again, and started digging around. One day, I found cheats sites by people such as Chewitt Dude, Holagurrl25, Paintboy100, etc. My best friend hadn’t disappeared altogether, though. Before this, we agreed to make an “army”, since we had both seen Romans and Vikings in action. It was January, and the brown sombreros and the suede jacket were out. The “Nacho” outfit was old. We made the Tacos, but read more about that below. I met some cool people making the Tacos. Some of them include Htjackk, Joshua9999, and then, of course, later Pochoma123. Joshua had his own blog, and so did Htjackk. I came to helping Htjackk out with his blog, becoming a very good poster and good friend. Sometime later, he quit. After I met Pochoma123, I was into armies. I slowly forgot about my cheats site stuff, until I basically quit around ’08. I came back about late ’08. I had lost everything, including my friends, my army, and a lot of knowledge. So I found Poch’s blogspot site and commented. He replied, and I remade the Tacos. I was back into armies, and during that time, Poch switched to WordPress.

A lot later, later, I wanted to help Poch with his site. He agreed, and I helped design the site and occasionally post.

Club Penguin Armies

The Tacos. I created them with my friend Pdiddyguin in January 2007. It had a long history, but compared to today’s armies it was a medium sized army. Lines and charges and crud like that didn’t exist. It was snowballs and size. And a lot of drama, like “SLASHES” and “SHOTS” and “DIES”. Today, those are easily filtered. After my first run, Pdiddyguin quit, and eventually I faded away. But in ’08, I came back with the new Tacos. I was very new to armies again, not knowing about all the advancements that were made. I didn’t know about Xat, nations, more alliances, and much more. I was introduced to Xat by Poch himself. The Tacos were strong for a period of time, and made a close alliance with the CPIB, ice breakers.We were both dying, and we merged to create the Fire Warriors. We grew like a fire. We blazed, and became the size of our fellow medium-major army, the MRW. Led by popular cheats site owner Woton, experienced leader Trickster, and creator Ganger they were a force to be reckoned with. Of course, we agreed to merging together to create the RFW. The RFW was largely successful for a time, before falling. And rising. And then falling. Out of fear that our name wasn’t good for recruiting, we changed back to the Fire Warriors. Legends came back, and we became the 4th largest army. We prospered for a long time, but sadly, all good things must come to an eventual end. We, the leaders, decided to merge into the Nachos. I grew tired of the Nachos’ leaders, and ditched the army, remaking the Fire Warriors. Poch and Rice, a friend of ours from the Red Warriors, who merged in before, were second-in-commands. In the end, I made them both leaders and we switched back to the RFW, for old times sake. After many battles, many falls, rebuilds, and everything, me and Poch still lead the RFW today.
